Activation and upgrades

Activation burns OG: a transfer to 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dEaD. Cumulative burns are 50,000 OG for L1, 150,000 for L2 and 400,000 for L3. An upgrade burns only the difference.

Levels, weights and map colors

L1 is green, weight 1. L2 is blue, weight 2. L3 is magenta, weight 4. A weight of 4 earns four times a weight of 1 at the same moment. Gold highlights a wallet.

ETH hook fee

The ordinary fee is 3.5% of the ETH side of buys and sells: 1% goes to the team and 2.5% to active Pepes by weight.

Launch-hour fee decay

During the first hour, the buy fee falls linearly from 50% to 3.5%. Sells stay at 3.5%. The extra launch fee goes into backlog.

Backlog and the stream

Backlog holds launch surplus and fees received when no Pepes are active. It streams linearly over 30 days while there is active weight. New surplus or a change in active weight can restart that schedule.

Pending ETH

Pending is the ETH a Pepe has earned so far. Rewards follow the NFT when it transfers to a new owner. A brighter map node has more pending ETH.

Exit and auction

After the 24-hour activation or upgrade lock, an owner can exit to collect pending ETH. The Pepe becomes inactive and goes to a 36-hour Dutch auction. Its OG price falls over time toward a floor. The original burn is not refunded.
